Alison Friesen Nutrition
was born out of a desire to provide honest and authentic nutrition support and services, with individual or group needs placed at the forefront. As Registered Dietitians (RDs), you can trust that we have the training and credentials to safely, accurately and effectively assess your nutritional needs and design a plan that is individualized and evidence-based.
AFN desires to:
- Establish strong, authentic relationships with clients and teams based on trust, commitment and respect. We believe strongly that this is an important part of providing a quality health service.
- Provide custom care and inspire each client to reach their potential, using a team approach. As a regulated health profession, an RD works with the client along with the family doctor and other health care team members to provide the best care possible. We will communicate with the physiotherapists, physicians, trainers and coaches to provide an integrated service.
- Provide our clients with practical tools on how to meet their nutritional goals. We believe strongly in a non-diet, whole food approach with the support of supplements only when needed.
